I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima with about 170,000 miles on it, recently I have been running into light, tire and other minor problems with the car. Also the car has a cloth interior which I have grown to despise over the years. Is it worth it to trade my car in back to Nissan for a new Altima lease. Do you think I will regret paying monthly in the future?

I have a leased vehicle that I am possibly considering trading in for another vehicle. My lease does not end for another 19 months. I was told that I can trade in my vehicle for the same make. Would I suffer any penalties?

I’m at the end of my lease…well two payments left….and I’m looking at trading it in. How is the dealer trade-in calculated? Is it residual + remaining payments – minus sales tax? I live in Washington state. Thanks in advance.

We have a lease up on 2/1/09 and do not want to spend $520 to replace the tires only to trade the vehicle in. I have found some used tires with good tread to save money but was wondering the required tire depth for trade-in to avoid penalty. Thanks.
