My J.R.O.T.C program at my high school has put me in charge of a special project to sending stuff to haiti victims. So far no one is accepting items just money but, i think we need to send more than that to those poor people. I have no clue where in my area they are accepting these things we collect. I live in Central Texas (Temple) and need a good place local to send the stuff. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I won’t donate any more to Haiti until I feel that the 10 missionaries accused of kidnapping are released. I’m not suggesting that they didn’t commit a crime, and irrespective they need to be punished, but I can’t trust Haiti to select a punishment that fits the crime.
Does anyone else feel this way?

A lot of charities for Haiti right now are asking you to text them, and when you do you will raise/donate 5 dollars for the cause. How do they get the money? Do they take it from your phone bill, or is it for every text a sponsor will donate five dollars?

We are doing a clothing drive to help those affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Would we be able to send cloths to Haiti now since the main priority is money? I told everyone to collect cloths but have not found a way to send it yet. Who do i need to contact to send it?
