Hey
I’m doing a 5 pg research paper on the brutality in Haiti during the 20th century?
I keep looking but am having trouble finding information and resources that are actually creditable ( not wikipedia and stuff like that). I was wondering if any could help me out, or found resources and factual information.

I am from Colombia, my father was from Haiti, he was an Haitian diplomat stationed here in Colombia, he took me several times to Haiti when i was growing up
By the things i saw i can respond
The army is too little to do some military work invading other countries but are too large for a little country they do is repression and massive arrests of political opponents
Jails are full of people with little felonies waiting way too long to be taken to a judge
Criminal judges do not use computers they use type machine
civil rights and judicial due process is non – existent
Police like to take bribes
Corruption is self evident
Poverty is abundant
Haiti has 8 million but 150 families control wealth
Look after Duvalier family
Usaid went there and left shortly after with disillusion
