Mobile version of the websites will show up on the iPad, because iPad runs a modified iPhone OS.
You add $150 to have 3G enabled and $15/$30 per month after that. It really depends on how you use the iPad, if you’re outside often and can’t get wireless access, then it’s definitely worth it.

I couldn’t tell you because I haven’t gotten my iPad yet. I found one of those free offer things on here which I actually have experience with. I got my xbox360 doing that, but it took about 5 weeks. I didn’t pay a dime though. You can see what I’m talking about here http://tinyurl.com/y8d83e2

the most basic model costs $499, it will have wi-fi, so you don’t have to get internet for it.

    Wi-Fi and 3G
I do not know if the 3G network is worthwhile for you.

The iPad is garbage. The internet works identical to the iTouch (and still no Flash support)
