Chris Wilcox is also athletic and Hughes and him both are pretty good scorers. Wilcox can be a double double guy, like Haslem and start for us @ Center. Being, that Jeffries is beyond bad. Hughes gives us a chucker that is also a good defender and can play PG, unlike Nate, so he can give Duhon a well deserved rest and Nate is SG. He is also a true SG and we do not need to resort to making Q our starting SG.
True they looking to sign Jannero Pargo or someone a team drops or Bonzi Wells or Ewing Jr. I heard. Plus, it was like we had 12 players before being that James, Rose, and Roberson sucked and never played.
New york Knicks has the best part of the trade deadline coz they have made their unused players to good used by dumping them to other team who barely needed them and they also have 3 roster spot which they can use to sign players for them to reach the palyoffs they are close but i guess not this year… closely followed by the magic and magic who needs a PG desperately even willing to give anything for them to land a good PG with rafer. rockets who have their new PG on their team they really needed a change on their PG eventhough i like rafer for the rockets but it would definitely get the rockets going with the young lowry. as per j_will status i guess miami can pick him up with dwade and moon skying above the rim looks great right? or the rockets might even get him for them to re-energize their bldg as per adelman’s kings in the 2000.
yeah the magic trade had the biggest immediate impact. but i think the knicks got Hughes because he used to play with Lebron! and they can be reunited on the knicks. I know crazy, but i think thats why they did it. pretty smart if u think about it.
I like what the Knicks did too. I think they got some good players to help them, but they also didn’t trade Marbury! Hopefully they don’t release him either because if they do, it’s bad news for the Lakers and the Eastern Conference.
the orlando-houston trade, no doubt. orlando, finally, gets a decent point guard after losing nelson to injury. and houston gets lowry, arguably the best point guard memphis had this season.
Yeah so far it’s Hughes and Wilcox, no big trades yet. The Knicks really need rebound since they are now a three point shooting team and Hughes will provide not only steals but also long range shots

yes definitely best value trade. but the most important trade was orlando getting Alston because they really needed a point guard.
